DALLAS (October 3, 2025) — Barnes & Thornburg (B&T), a national law firm with more than 800 lawyers in 23 offices, will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Dallas office with a reception at the firm’s location on North Pearl Street on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025. The celebration will mark a decade of transformative growth, relentless client service and workplace innovation in North Texas.
From three litigators in 2015 to more than 40 lawyers and 35 business professionals today, B&T’s Dallas office comprises a 75-person team focused on commercial litigation, products liability, private equity, real estate, and intellectual property.
“As we celebrate 10 years in Texas, I am proud of our team’s commitment to Texas and what we have built here,” said Thomas Haskins, managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office. “From serving our clients — both those across the country and those that call Texas home — to creating an exceptional workplace, I’m continually in awe of our team and the relationships we have fostered.”
Haskins joined the firm as the third litigator in 2015 and was elected office managing partner in 2024. Unlike other large firms, Haskins noted, B&T did not grow its Texas presence by pursuing or acquiring large groups of attorneys from other firms to spur quick growth. Instead, the firm has been intentional and methodical in finding the right talent to fit the firm’s culture – entrepreneurial lawyers who thrive when surrounded with the right support and resources. That is reflected in the early success of many of B&T’s lawyers, and the sophisticated clients from around the country who call on B&T Dallas for their most critical legal needs.
Strongly committed to community engagement, the Dallas office partners with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, a joint effort between the Dallas Bar Association and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, to provide free legal representation to those in need. The office also actively supports local nonprofits, including Mosaic Family Services, which serves refugees and others in crisis, and Dallas Life, a homeless service provider, demonstrating B&T’s dedication to giving back and making a positive local impact.
