For the eighth consecutive year, Thompson Coburn Los Angeles managing partner Jennifer Post has been named to the LA500, an annual list of the 500 "most influential people in Los Angeles" published by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
The Los Angeles Business Journal selects "the most influential, most powerful and most impactful business professionals" in sectors including the arts and philanthropy, banking, civic leadership, finance, legal, media, entertainment, and tech, among others.
The publication highlights Jennifer's multifaceted role at Thompson Coburn LLP, where she serves as managing partner of the Los Angeles office, co-chair of the emerging companies group, and a member of the Corporate and Securities group.
The publication states, "A specialist in corporate law and financial matters, she has shepherded several major transactions in the past two years, including a $15 million sale of a private equity-backed insurance brokerage to a top insurance provider; the closing of a $40 million transaction to fund a life sciences company; a series A financing deal for an agritech startup; closing a venture transaction of $50 million; and closing on $72 million in financing for a public company."
She joined the firm in 2016 and was its first LGBTQ managing partner. With over 30 years of experience, Jennifer represents entities across the country in financial transactions encompassing general corporate and securities law and commercial finance and is a member of the firm's Management Committee.
