A&O Shearman is representing DoorDash in its acquisition of SevenRooms, a New York City-based software company and a global leader in hospitality technology.

For DoorDash (NASDAQ: DASH), the acquisition marks a significant expansion of its Commerce Platform capabilities, providing merchants with the tools to grow in-store and delivery sales, build stronger customer relationships and increase profitability. The acquisition is expected to close during the second half of 2025. The transaction was announced on May 6, 2025 in a press release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 2011, SevenRooms has more than 13,000 dining, hotel F&B, nightlife and entertainment venues globally, including: Marriott International, MGM Resorts International, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Wynn Resorts and Live Nation.

A&O Shearman, led by London corporate partner Will Samengo-Turner, previously advised DoorDash in connection with investments and acquisitions in Romania, Czech Republic, UK, and Israel, as well as in its €7 billion acquisition of Finnish delivery company Wolt, which significantly expanded DoorDash's international operations.
