LOS ANGELES – FordHarrison LLP, one of the country's largest management-side labor and employment law firms, is pleased to announce that Alexander "A.J." Harwin has joined the Los Angeles, CA office as Partner.

Prior to joining FordHarrison, A.J. was a partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP. With extensive experience in labor and employment law as well as business litigation, A.J. counsels and defends employers throughout the country across a wide range of industries. A.J.'s practice spans all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including claims alleging sexual harassment; discrimination; wrongful termination; individual and class wage and hour lawsuits; contract matters; defamation; and invasion of privacy. Known for his practical, business-minded approach, A.J. helps clients navigate complex legal challenges with an eye toward strategic resolution and risk mitigation. When litigation is unavoidable, A.J. is not afraid to take a case through summary judgment, trial and/or arbitration. A.J. also provides advice, counseling and training at his clients' offices, legal seminars for various organizations and, last year, live on stage at the Hollywood Bowl. A.J. is a past-chair of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Labor & Employment Section and has been active with the San Fernando Valley Bar Association for over 10 years.
