Forensic expert, Tendai Jangara has joined ENS as an Executive in our Forensics practice, effective 3 March 2025. Tendai brings over 15 years of extensive experience in forensic legal services and corporate governance across Africa, serving both public and private sectors.

Throughout her distinguished career, Tendai has led complex investigations, successfully resolving multi-million-rand irregular expenditure transactions. She has provided expert advice on regulatory compliance and corporate governance, aligning with legislative requirements and King IV standards. Additionally, Tendai has developed and delivered comprehensive fraud awareness strategies and training programmes, integrating forensic functions into enterprise-wide processes.

Prior to joining ENS, Tendai has led Forensics Investigations departments at commercial law firms, has managed her own legal and forensic consultancy, and held positions within an international research firm, a bank's forensic department, and a top four auditing firm.

Tendai holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and is a certified data protection specialist, advising on compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

"In today's dynamic business landscape, strong forensic expertise is essential. Tendai's proven track record and deep understanding of corporate governance will be invaluable to our clients," said ENS CE, Mzi Mgudlwa.

ENS' Head of Forensics, Steven Powell, added: "As companies, particularly those in emerging markets, increasingly prioritise governance and address misconduct, we are expanding our team to meet their evolving needs. Tendai's expertise will provide our clients with unparalleled insights and solutions."
