ENS, in collaboration with The Legal 500, hosted the first-ever GC Powerlist: Ghana Awards at the Labadi Beach Hotel on Wednesday, 26 February 2025.

This prestigious event honoured over 80 of some of Ghana's most outstanding General Counsel, recognised for their significant impact on the legal profession. Each honouree was selected through The Legal 500's rigorous evaluation process.

The evening brought together the GC Powerlist winners, alongside senior ENS representatives from across our African offices, led by ENS CE Mzi Mgudlwa and Amina Kaguah, Head of ENS' Ghana office.

Reflecting on the occasion, Amina shared, "In a world where change and uncertainty are a constant, there is no doubt that in-house counsel play a vital role in ensuring that their companies are able to resolve their challenges. Today's celebration is therefore a testament to the work that you all do in your organisations each day. You are the innovators and the trusted advisors who help your companies navigate these complexities and seize opportunities. At ENS, we highly regard these qualities - innovation and originality are the foundations of everything we do as a firm, and the winners embody these qualities in a profound way. It is therefore such an opportunity for us to continue to work with these talented individuals. Congratulations to each of you. Your achievements are an inspiration and set a bar for excellence in Ghana and beyond."

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the distinguished legal professionals celebrated at this year's event. To view the complete list of honourees, please visit The Legal 500 website.

Stay tuned for our upcoming Ghana report, where we'll share key regulatory updates, industry insights and expert perspectives.
