WASHINGTON – (Feb. 2025) - Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is pleased to announce that Daniel Pickard, shareholder and leader of its International Trade and National Security practice group, has been recognized in the Global Chambers USA 2025 guide. He is ranked for International Trade: Trade Remedies and Trade Policy.

Chambers ranking tables are compiled through an assessment of a firm’s work and opinions from external market sources, with an emphasis on client feedback. Lawyers need to demonstrate sustained excellence in order to be ranked in the guide. Chambers reaches out to clients for feedback on attorneys and Pickard’s clients reported:

"Dan brings forward creative and sophisticated arguments grounded in the law, economic analysis and agency practice."

"He presents complex data in clear, understandable ways and is a very effective advocate for his clients."

Pickard has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in international trade and national security related matters. He represents clients in all aspects of international trade law, including trade remedy matters such as antidumping (AD), countervailing duty (CVD), and safeguard investigations. Specifically, he helps U.S. manufacturing companies who are losing market share or suffering from decreased profits to obtain relief against unfairly priced imports.

The International Trade: Trade Remedies & Trade Policy section in the Chambers guide includes lawyers that focus their practices on antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) cases, as well as other international trade matters including WTO and other treaty-based trade and investment disputes, bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations, and market access issues. Common clients include domestic and international manufacturers, industry associations and national governments.
