Chris Kinnear Hunter's recent appointment to the Torys partnership has received recognition from the Global Arbitration Review.
Several industry figures commented to the publication on the news, saying Chris is an "outstanding international arbitration lawyer", and that he "has established himself as an experienced and sophisticated lawyer with strong instinct."
Speaking to the Global Arbitration Review, partner John Terry said Chris's addition to the partnership will "help ensure that the firm remains among the strongest international arbitration practices in Canada and globally for years to come".
"[Chris is a] forceful advocate with a focused and effective advocacy style, great on-his-feet judgment and deep knowledge of international arbitral law and practice," John said.
Chris was among five lawyers promoted to partner and three lawyers promoted to counsel, whose appointments took effect January 1.
