Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Daniel Sui has joined the firm's Chicago office as an Associate.
Daniel focuses his practice on all aspects of intellectual property litigation. His experience includes conducting pre-suit investigations, performing invalidity/non-infringement analyses, drafting trial briefs, supporting expert witness matters, and reviewing licensing and settlement agreements. Before joining Dickinson Wright, he was an associate at an Indianapolis IP boutique firm focusing on both patent litigation and prosecution. There, he gained extensive experience in various client technologies, including artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, medical devices, and mechanical systems. Prior to law school, he worked as a manufacturing engineer in the semi-trailer industry, where he gained deep insights into clients' business needs within the industry.
Daniel is a member of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC), the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) and its Indiana chapter, and the Indianapolis Bar Association. He received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University and his J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
