In joining the firm, Dunphy said: "Arnold & Porter's strong reputation in Boston, coupled with the strength of its litigation, life sciences, and healthcare practices, is truly impressive. I am eager to contribute to the growth of the firm's Boston office and collaborate with the Complex Litigation team, which has an established track record for handling high-stakes commercial disputes."
Dunphy earned his B.A. from Boston College and his J.D. from Boston College Law School.
In September 2023, Arnold & Porter announced the opening of its Boston office with a focus on life sciences and health care transactions, litigation, regulatory counseling, and government investigations. This followed the opening of the Amsterdam office in August 2022, which significantly enhanced the firm's European life sciences regulatory capabilities.
Dunphy's arrival follows the recent addition of veteran white collar defense attorney and former Assistant U.S. Attorney Giselle Joffre to the firm's Boston office.
