Vladimir Komarov, managing partner of GRATA International St Petersburg, spoke on 11 May at the eleventh St Petersburg International Legal Forum, the biggest legal event of the year. Vladimir's speech was part of the session on "Legal Protection of Russian Business Abroad".
Speakers at SPIEF-2023 included leading Russian lawyers from various fields of law, politicians and heads of government and international organizations, as well as businessmen.

About the Forum in numbers
Over 3,800 participants from 54 countries and territories including Russia took part in this great event: representatives of the Russian and foreign legal communities, leading public figures and statesmen, businessmen and government officials met on the biggest platform for professional discussions.
The Forum gathered representatives of legislative, executive and judicial authorities, law science, higher education institutions, bar, legal consulting, legal departments, public organizations of lawyers, large companies, media.
Compared to last year the number of foreign delegations has increased significantly. SPIEF-2023 was attended by heads of high-ranking authorities from 36 foreign countries.
The Forum was attended by 20 Ministers of Justice: from the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the People's Republic of China (in the CCS format), the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of Angola, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Mali, the Republic of Namibia, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Republic of Chad, the Central African Republic, the Republic of South Arabia, Saudi Arabia, the Syrian Arab Republic.
The Forum was attended by the heads of the highest courts of 10 foreign countries, 5 heads of international organisations and associations, and 6 heads of the diplomatic corps.
Some 200 representatives of the scientific community, law schools, associations and unions, international and Russian organisations were among the guests of the Forum.
Participants included more than 650 representatives of Russian and foreign businesses from over 350 companies.
More than 150 business programme events were held during the four days of the Forum, including 22 sessions within the framework of the International Youth Legal Forum.
