COFEPRIS authorizes the first 38 cannabis products in México

On November 21st, 2018, the Federal Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risks announced that it has authorized the first 38 cannabis products in México following the guidelines published by said Commission on October 30, 2018.

These products include 21 food supplements, 9 cosmetic products, 6 food products and 2 prime materials in favor of seven different companies established in México.

As these products are authorized in terms of the Guidelines, they all contain less than 1% THC, but have other cannabinoids such as CBD, in their composition.
