Matheson is delighted to announce that Stuart Kennedy, partner in our Finance and Capital Markets Group has been recognised by Euromoney Legal Media Group Europe Rising Stars Awards as ‘Rising Star Ireland’ at the awards ceremony that took place in London on 7 November 2019. These awards celebrate rising star lawyers across 20 practice areas and from 19 European countries.
Stuart’s win is reflective of his extensive experience in advising on the structuring of cross border aircraft purchase, sale, financing and leasing transactions and on structured finance, ABS (asset-backed securitisation) and repackaging transactions relating to aircraft, including the establishment of special purpose companies funded by public and private issuances.
Richard Kelly was also shortlisted for Capital Markets as a structured finance, Rising Star: Ireland.
