Jean Russotto authored an article titled "When Switzerland Goes down the Wrong Path" for the Swiss French-language newspaper Le Temps. The September 12 article describes how negotiations between Switzerland and the EU on a new common institutional framework are at a standstill. Jean states that the new European Commission, as well as EU member states, will not change their position, and unless there is a miracle solution, it is very unlikely that an agreement will be signed this year.
