Here is the latest update from Asia Pacific Representative Dorothy Kwok in Hong Kong

Last week, I attended the 4th Belt and Road Summit, a two-day event at which more than 80 government and business leaders from Hong Kong, Mainland China and other countries and regions around the world discussed the opportunities available in different sectors based on the latest developments under the Belt and Road Initiative. The theme was 'Creating and Realising Opportunities', and it was evident that the initiative offers many opportunities for the younger generation looking to develop their businesses and harness their creativity.

In the session 'Belt and Road Opportunities for the Young Generation', a panel of young entrepreneurs shared their experiences and views on how new entrepreneurs can grasp opportunities arising from the initiative.

We are planning to lead a roadshow in Singapore and Hong Kong during the week of the STEP Asia Conference in November. This will also include a panel discussion about trust & fiduciary. If you want any further information, please contact me.

Here is China Representative Wendy Weng's update from Shanghai

I am busy preparing for our Chief Executive Dominic Wheatley's visit to Shanghai next week, when he will be hosting our Shanghai Masterclass on 26 September. Discussions will take place around both captive insurance and wealth management. Kate Storey from Walkers and Charles Scott from ARM will also be speaking.

During the week, Dominic will visit the Shanghai Municipal Government and will be part of a joint presentation with a law firm to an asset management company. He will also have meetings with local lawyers and the Family office Association.
