Inflation in November 1997 was 6.2% whereas in October 1997 it was 5.9%.

The main factors influencing the higher inflation rate are higher prices in the health care sector (14%), prices for recreation and culture (9.4%), prices for accommodation, water, electricity, gas a other fuels (9.3%) and also prices for clothing and footwear (8.4%).
