This fund shall be formed from compulsory contributions of domestic importers and exporters amounting to 0.1% of the value of each import of goods released in the import regime and 0.1% of the value of each export of goods released in the regime of free circulation.

Importers and exporters are obliged to remit payment within 30 days after the customs office has decided to release goods in the proposed regime.

The fund shall be used to cover the costs of domestic importers and exporters for promotional activities of up to 50% of their costs. These costs are listed in the law and include for example the leasing of an exhibit area, costs of promoting goods in foreign countries, loans to cover customs debts and costs for organised commercial missions.
