City of Toronto

The City of Toronto is providing all customers with a grace period for property tax payments and payment penalties for 60 days starting March 16, 2020. All pending automated withdrawals that have been scheduled for all City residents and businesses within the next 60-day period but not yet withdrawn will be suspended.

City of Ajax

The City of Ajax will provide a two-month grace period, which will begin on the April 2020 instalment with no penalty or interest charged for May 2020 or June 2020.

City of Aurora

The City of Aurora is waiving all late payment fees and interest for the March 26 and April 28 property due dates.

City of Barrie

The City of Barrie will not be charging new late fees or interest until June 30, 2020, for any outstanding property tax bills related to 2020.

City of Brampton

The City of Brampton has waived the interest and late fees on unpaid property tax for the period of March 18, 2020, to August 19, 2020.

City of Brantford

The City of Brantford will not be charging late payment fees on April 1, 2020, or May 1, 2020, to accounts with unpaid property taxes from the February 28, 2020 due date and the upcoming April 29, 2020 due date.

City of Burlington

The City of Burlington will be deferring the April 21, 2020 instalment to June 30 and will not be charging interest and fees.

Town of Caledon

The Town of Caledon has deferred all remaining 2020 property tax payments by two months. Property taxes originally due on May 7, 2020, July 2, 2020, and September 3, 2020, will now be due July 2, 2020, September 3, 2020, and November 5, 2020, respectively.

City of Cambridge

The City of Cambridge will waive penalties, interest, late payment charges, and other fees related to property taxes starting April 1, 2020, until June 1, 2020.

Municipality of Clarington

The Municipality of Clarington is waiving property tax penalties and interest for 60 days, effective on the April 2020 instalment.

City of Guelph

The City of Guelph is waiving property tax penalties and interest for the April 30, 2020 instalment.
