The Ontario Securities Commission recently announced that it has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Financial Supervisory Commission of Taiwan (FSC) in regards to supporting innovative FinTech businesses. Various other Canadian regulators have also signed onto the agreement.

Under the agreement, the FSC and participating Canadian regulators agree to mutually refer to each other, and provide support for, FinTech companies interested in operating in the jurisdiction to which the company is referred.
