Mondaq and Content Marketing During COVID-19

We find ourselves in a time of ongoing global uncertainty with the fast moving COVID-19 pandemic and we have all seen the heightened importance placed on remote communication.

Here at Mondaq we have seen an enormous surge in content submissions over the last eight weeks. COVID-19 has of course been the hottest topic, with many of our contributing firms providing considered insights on how the pandemic is likely to impact businesses and industry sectors around the world.

To streamline the exceptionally high volumes of content, we have launched a dedicated Coronavirus (COVID-19) topic area, making it easier for our users to locate what they need, when they need it while continuing to maximize exposure for our contributors.

In addition to the new topic area, we have also launched two new COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Mondaq Advice Centres, one for Canada, contributed by Dentons and one for the USA, contributed by Akin Gump Strauss Hauer Feld LLP. We will be launching other country specific COVID-19 Advice Centres over the coming weeks, follow us on LinkedIn to stay informed as new content goes live.

The surge in content has been mirrored in our usage, pageviews have increased by 43%, compared to the previous period. Content within our new Coronavirus (COVID-19) topic area has seen over 3.1 million views (and growing fast) since it was launched on 31st March, which, like many things at this time, is unprecedented.

The exceptional growth in both content and usage demonstrates the value of content marketing, especially when businesses are adapting to a new and different way of working.
