Australia: Our Planning, Environment And Local Government Group’s Partnership With PIA, NSW Division

We are delighted to announce our partnership with the NSW Division of the Planning Institute of Australia. The partnership will involve providing a series of joint seminars at our offices over the forthcoming financial year and launching our new 'Ask Gadens' column in PIA's monthly eNews.

Our joint seminars will bring together town planners, developers, financiers, architects and other consultants to address a range of hot topics relevant to the planning and development industry. Our first seminar kicks off on 19 August 2010 and will deal with new and pending issues in the retail development area. More information about this seminar will be released shortly.

'Ask Gadens' is a forum which enables members of PIA to email us (through a specially created email address) any tricky or puzzling planning and environmental law questions which they seek answered. Each month, we will pick three questions from those submitted which we believe will be of most interest to the planning industry, and will answer these in PIA's eNews publication. eNews is emailed to all PIA members on a monthly basis. Our first 'Ask Gadens' column will be published later in July.
