Foreign Trade Act
The scope of the Foreign Trade Act, which is being prepared, involves the following:
- Co-ordination and foreign capital support in accordance with WTO principles;
- Protection of business and political interests of the Slovak Republic;
- Rules on regulation of foreign business relations in extraordinary situations.
The Act is to become effective on 1 January 1999 at the earliest and should cover the existing legal regulations in the foreign trade field.
