WEBINAR DESCRIPTION

Germany: Reshape Your Work Force - How to Use The COVID-19 Crisis For a Better Future

Germany's labour market has not been dramatically affected by the COVID-19 crisis so far. Many companies could switch to remote work and government subsidy programs and costs saving measures are still preventing the worst from happening. However, while government support is running out soon, the world economy has not recovered and many expect the worst yet to come. How can employers not only prepare for that, but even take advantage of the crisis to reshape their work force so they will come back from it even stronger and more sustainable than before? Dietmar Müller-Boruttau and Daniel Hund will give advice on legal issues related to long-term remote work, work force restructurings and other HR-related cost saving measures. Moreover they will share their best practices in handling relevant players, such as unions, works councils, labour courts and using legal tools to achieve the best possible results in practice.
