The Withers tech team has advised long-standing client LocalGlobe as lead investor in the $4 million seed round of Noala, a London-based speech and language therapy platform for children.

LocalGlobe is one of the UK's leading early-stage venture capital funds, focused on identifying and backing high-potential startups with a positive impact.

Noala was founded in 2021 as an app that speech and language therapists could use to help run their clinics in the UK and US. Since then, it has released its B2C children's therapy platform, combining digital activities with weekly sessions led by speech and language professionals for a third of the price of standard speech and language therapy.

London partner Iain Cockburn, who led the Withers tech team, comments: "It has been a pleasure to work again with the LocalGlobe team on another investment into a fantastic business. Noala's platform will be transformative for the many people who experience communication difficulties, and we are proud at Withers tech to have played a small part in Noala's journey."

Withers tech is the technology, life sciences and venture capital focused team at international law firm Withers.
