The American Lawyer named Arnold & Porter partners Jane Norberg, Stanton Jones, and Elisabeth Theodore to its 2022 "South Trailblazers" list. The annual list profiles attorneys within the southern region who have "moved the needle in the legal industry."

Appellate & Supreme Court partners Jones and Theodore were recognized for their voting rights work over the past year. In March, the duo obtained a significant victory for voting rights in North Carolina when they argued that the North Carolina congressional and state legislative maps violated the rights to free elections, equal protection, and free speech and assembly. Jones and Theodore told The American Lawyer that "state courts and state constitutions will play an increasingly important role in the fight for voting rights as well as other racial and social justice causes."

The publication also highlighted Securities Enforcement & Litigation partner Jane Norberg for her work on the SEC whistleblower program. Norberg, who is the former Chief of the Office of the Whistleblower at the Securities and Exchange Commission, told The American Lawyer that the success of the whistleblower program "has made whistleblowing more prevalent and accepted than ever and, in turn, made companies more aware of the impact that whistleblowers have on detecting internal compliance issues."
