Kimberly Kamkar was recently appointed to the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA) Board of Governors for the WLALA 2022-2023 Board year. She will serve as the Co-Chair for the Young Lawyers Section (YLS), which focuses on providing opportunities for professional growth, mentorship and networking for young women lawyers. Her term begins September 12, 2022, and she will be officially installed by Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye.

The mission of WLALA is to promote the full participation in the legal profession of women lawyers and judges from diverse perspectives and racial and ethnic backgrounds, maintain the integrity of our legal system by advocating principles of fairness and equality, and improve the status of women by supporting their exercise of equal rights, equal representation and reproductive choice.
