Davies Collison Cave's (DCC) strength has always been and will always be our people, so it is imperative for us to support our team to the best of our ability. This is why we are committed to providing an inclusive workplace culture where all our people are valued and recognised for their unique qualities, ideas and perspectives.

In 2021 we implemented a 3 year strategy that outlines our commitment to making diversity, inclusion and belonging ("DIB") integral to the way we work, interact with each other, and collaborate with clients. We recognise that, to be world leading, we need to see the world in all of its many colours and dimensions.

To deliver excellence in our work, we recognise that authenticity and inclusion are foundational. Recognising the obstacles that our people face, and providing them with the tools and support to deal with them when they arise, are at the foundation of our DIB strategy.

One of these tools has recently been implemented to help anyone navigating gender affirmation at work.

Patent Principal, Hannah Brown, has been with DCC for more than 20 years, and has announced a new name to better reflect her gender identity. Hannah said "I am so pleased that the "diversity, inclusion & belonging" initiatives at DCC over recent years have created a safe space for me and others to come out in the workplace".

DCC Group Managing Principal, Michael Wolnizer, said "The DCC Leadership team are fully committed to supporting our people and to introducing more inclusive practices. We all can positively contribute to making our work places safe so that everyone can bring their whole selves to work each and every day".
