We are delighted to announce the opening of LexCounsel's office in Chandigarh Tri City region. We are also pleased to welcome Sumer Singh Brar as Counsel, heading the Chandigarh office.

Sumer has well over a decade of experience of handling civil and criminal litigation across various forums all over India including the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Punjab and Haryana High Court, National Company Tribunals pan India, National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, Real Estate Regulatory Authorities in Delhi NCR and Punjab and Haryana, Debts Recovery Tribunal at Chandigarh and multiple Consumer Courts in the northern region.

Sumer's expertise lies in representing clients on litigation matters under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Companies Act and white-collar crimes under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and Prevention of Corruption Act. Sumer has also represented the Government as a panel counsel for the Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation and PGI Rohtak, handling myriad matters ranging from advisory to commercial litigation. Sumer is also an avid military historian, and writes on the history of the Indian Armed Forces.

Having extensively worked with Sumer over the last decade, we are confident in entrusting this responsibility upon him, while continuing to expand our footprint across India.

With the opening of the Chandigarh Office with Sumer in the lead, the Firm aims to provide its full spectrum of legal services to its clients in the Northern States of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.
