Upcycling, recycling and resale are increasingly important aspects of the fashion and fashion markets driven by increasing environmental concerns, but also simply because they make business sense. However, these new aspects of the market raise important considerations for the enforcement of intellectual property rights and how your brand and product quality are controlled and maintained.
Our webinar will consider the issues of the exhaustion of IP rights in relation to upcycling, recycling and resale, some of the ongoing important cases globally concerning resale websites and how and when one should enforce your IP rights with regards upcycling by 'brand fans' and 'commercial websites' considering issues of public and brand relations, amongst other issues.
