SAN FRANCISCO (January 27, 2022) -- Seyfarth announced today the arrival of partner Jamie R. Rich to its Labor & Employment department and Labor Management Relations practice group in San Francisco. Rich previously served as a Greenberg Traurig shareholder in San Francisco and Sacramento where she was national co-chair of the firm's Labor & Employment practice's Labor-Management Relations group.

Rich advises employers in complex labor management relations and high-stakes employment litigation. A skilled labor law practitioner, she counsels businesses from a diverse range of industries in matters before the National Labor Relations Board and has successfully negotiated many collective bargaining agreements. Rich also represents clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in issues involving discrimination and harassment.

"We continue to expand our labor relations roster with lawyers at the top of their field," said Laura Maechtlen, chair of Seyfarth's Labor & Employment department. "Jamie brings a practice that is in high demand and her industry knowledge will serve clients and colleagues across the country."

Rich is the latest partner to join Seyfarth's Labor Management Relations practice group on the West Coast. Earlier this month, Kamran Mirrafati rejoined the firm's Labor & Employment department in Los Angeles.

"Jamie joins a deep bench of labor lawyers who call our full-service office home," said Christian Rowley, managing partner of Seyfarth's San Francisco office. "She is a well-respected leader in the Bay Area business community and owns an exceptional reputation for client service. We're thrilled to have her on our team."

Rich earned her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law and received a B.A. from the University of Southern California. She is an active member of the National Association of Women Lawyers, California Women Lawyers, and Marin County Women Lawyers.
