December 2021 – Kinstellar is pleased to announce that Müfit Arapoğlu has joined the Istanbul office as a Partner and Head of the local Capital Markets practice.
Müfit Arapoğlu is a widely recognised capital markets and corporate lawyer in Turkey. He advises issuers and underwriters and both local and international companies in equity and debt capital market transactions, including equity public offerings, debt instruments offerings, private placements and sales to qualified investors, voluntary mandatory tender offers, sukuk issuances and structured debt issuances.
In addition, Müfit has represented a large number of Turkish and international clients in various M&A transactions, particularly on the sale and purchase of companies in the banking, cement production, tobacco, media and retail sectors.
Müfit joins Kinstellar from the Turkish practice of Dentons (Balcıoğlu Selçuk Ardıyok Keki Attorney Partnership - BASEAK), where he was a partner and the head of their local Capital Markets practice.
Over the course of his career Müfit has been recognised by the main international legal directories Chambers and Legal 500 and other benchmark publications as one of the leading lawyers in Turkey. Müfit earned an LL.M. degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, and an LL.B. degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law. He is a member of the Istanbul Bar and is fluent in Turkish, English and German.
