Asian Legal Business (ALB) has shortlisted Morrison & Foerster's Global Chair of Private Equity Group Marcia Ellis and Hong Kong Dispute Resolution Partner Sarah Thomas as finalists in the "Dealmaker of the Year, North Asia" and "Arbitration Lawyer of the Year, North Asia" categories respectively in its inaugural ALB Women in Law Awards 2021.

Marcia has advised clients on deals with a total aggregate value of over US$171 billion in the past two years. Sarah has over 10 years of experience in Asia and represents clients in arbitration (and related litigation) of cross-border disputes, particularly with a nexus to China. Sarah has been named a Litigation Star for both International Arbitration and Commercial and Transactions by Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific 2019-2021.
