Kristin Morrison, a partner in Jones Day's Business & Tort Litigation Practice resident in the Firm's Cleveland Office, has been named to Crain's Cleveland Business' 2021 "40 Under 40" list. Honorees are chosen for their outstanding career achievements and civic engagement.

Ms. Morrison's practice focuses on helping businesses address disputes that impact their bottom line and reputation across a wide range of sectors. She has particular experience bringing and defending claims for clients based on breach of contract, breach of representation and warranty, business torts, indemnification, trade secrets and confidentiality, and various state and federal statutes regulating business conduct and competition, including investigations and pre-suit analyses related to each of these areas. Recently, Ms. Morrison participated in the Firm's representation of a health care client at trial in a high-profile public nuisance case litigated in federal court in Cleveland. She also currently represents several clients in contract, tort, and regulatory matters pending in state and federal courts.

Ms. Morrison leads the Cleveland Office's women's initiative (Women RRAIN), which she helped found in 2013. She also serves as the Firm's Cleveland Summer Program Chair.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Morrison participates in the Ohio Supreme Court Mentorship Program and oversees junior attorneys in pro bono representations, including a recent expungement case for a victim of human trafficking in Ohio. She also was a member of the inaugural 2019 class for Ladder Down Cleveland, which trains women attorney leaders to pay it forward in their community.
