Jonathan joins our Washington, DC office and expands the firm's capabilities in representing clients at the International Trade Commission in patent, trade secret, copyright, and trademark investigations, and in front of US Customs and Border Protection for enforcement of ITC exclusion orders.

He has more than 15 years of ITC experience, including in private practice and as a staff attorney handling patent, trade secret, gray market, and trademark investigations. Jonathan also worked as a senior attorney for the Office of General Counsel of the US Department of Commerce, where he focused on unfair trade investigations at the ITC and representing the department in international trade litigation before the US Court of International Trade, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, North American Free Trade Agreement arbitration panels, and the World Trade Organization.

Jonathan has also represented clients on international matters from the Brussels, Belgium office of an international law firm, worked as a regional manager in Washington, DC for the Israel-US Binational Research and Development Foundation, and served in a role for the government of Israel's Ministry of Finance that involved helping to develop relationships between US and Israeli high-tech companies.

He earned his JD degree, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and his BA, cum laude, from Johns Hopkins University.
