Asian Legal Business has named Morrison & Foerster's Co-Head of the Tokyo Litigation Department Yuka Teraguchi to its 40 Under 40 list of outstanding legal professionals for 2021. The recognition highlights the most accomplished lawyers in Asia under 40 years of age, showcasing 40 lawyers who have worked on some of the most significant deals and disputes in the region in the past year and have earned accolades from their peers, superiors, and clients. This year, Asian Legal Business received 341 submissions across 14 countries in Asia.

With over 13 years of experience in dispute resolution, Yuka's practice focuses on representing technology clients in IP and commercial disputes and regularly managing the global strategy in complex cross-border cases involving multiple jurisdictions. She offers extensive experience representing clients in U.S. federal courts, the International Trade Commission, and Japanese courts, handling a diverse array of technology-related matters from cases concerning semiconductors and communication networks to automotive components and medical devices. Before joining MoFo, she clerked for the Honorable Randall R. Rader, Chief Judge at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Yuka was named a "Next Generation Partner" for both Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property in the Japan edition of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific  2021  and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in Japan  for Intellectual Property Law in the 2021 and 2022 editions. She was also recognized as the exclusive winner of the "Rising Star" award for Intellectual Property by the Euromoney  Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2019.
