The third annual "Antitrust TX" conference was held in Houston on September 28, with a distinguished faculty of inside and outside counsel. Partner Bruce McDonald (Houston) chaired the program and provided remarks on antitrust enforcement in the Biden administration and its effect on Texas business. Partner Tom York (Dallas) led a panel discussion on "State Attorney General Antitrust Enforcement," with officials from the Texas, Colorado, and Pennsylvania Attorney General offices, who discussed antitrust enforcement against technology platforms, issues in labor and healthcare markets, as well as pending legislation. The all-day program also covered antitrust merger review, private litigation, supply and distribution issues, and challenges for the oil & gas and chemicals sectors.
