Dear Sue

On behalf of the partners at Matheson, I am delighted to invite you to join us on Tuesday, 21 September 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm for "Building Belonging: Matheson & Trinity College Dublin's Diversity and Inclusion Conference 2021"

Our last Diversity & Inclusion conference with Trinity College, 'Pathways to Belonging', explored pathways to creating an inclusive work environment where colleagues feel they can bring their whole selves to work. This year's conference, 'Building Belonging', will look at how these pathways work in practice and the challenges which organisations can still face in building a truly inclusive environment.

The conference, which will be delivered in partnership with Trinity College, will take place virtually and will bring together some of the most forward-thinking experts and senior leaders from progressive businesses and organisations, domestically and internationally, to address and discuss two central themes:

  • The business case for wellbeing: How the workplace can be a force for positive change; how it can support colleagues to live their lives well; and how this contributes to doing better business.
  • Hidden disabilities: Why hidden disabilities are often kept hidden; how to build an environment which empowers self-disclosure; and how this ties in with a culture of belonging.

We will hear from speakers from across a number of organisations and sectors, including from An Post, Matheson, AIB, Trinity College Dublin, Man Group, Byrne Deane, and National University of Ireland Galway.
