Luxembourg

Arendt is pleased to invite you to join the webinar focusing on the recent changes to the AML-CTF framework applicable in the insurance sector, in particular following the implementation of the 5th AML Directive into Luxembourg law and the new CAA Regulation 20-03.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday 3 March 2021 at 11:15 am CET time.

During this session, our insurance & reinsurance law experts will dive into some questions related to the AML-CTF obligations applicable to professionals active in the insurance sector, such as insurance and reinsurance companies, intermediaries and professionals of the insurance sector.

We will in particular focus on some of the following topics:

- scope of application of the AML/CTF obligations, including obligations applicable in the non-life insurance sector;

- risk-based approach;

- customer due diligence measures, including simplified and enhanced customer due diligence measures, ongoing monitoring and the timelines for carrying out such measures;

- internal policies and procedures including group-wide policies and new rules relating to the recourse by professionals to third parties to carry out their CDD measures on their behalf (the so-called third party introducer regime);

- split of competence between the Responsible for Compliance and the Compliance Officer.

Feel free to forward this invitation to any colleagues or clients who may be interested in attending.

Should you have any questions, please contact events@arendt.com

We look forward for your participation.

Kind regards,

The Partners of Arendt
