The Twin Cities Cardozo Society will honor Jones Day Investigations & White Collar Defense partner, Andrew M. Luger, with the Sidney Barrows Lifetime Commitment Award in recognition of his achievements in legal practice and dedication to community service.

Created in memory of Sidney Barrows, the Sidney Barrows Lifetime Commitment Award is given annually to a senior attorney or judge in the Twin Cities who exemplifies excellence in their practice, community service in the Jewish and general community, and a commitment to life-long learning. Mr. Luger will be honored during the Cardozo Society's 21st annual dinner on October 26, 2020.

Based in our Minneapolis Office, Andy Luger represents local and global companies on investigations and civil litigation in Minnesota, across the United States, and throughout Europe and the Middle East. He is one of the leaders of the Firm's national hate crimes and extremism initiative. While serving as United States Attorney in Minnesota, Andy oversaw the largest terrorism prosecution in the country, developed a nationally recognized program to counter violent extremism, and created successful initiatives to combat sex trafficking and gang activity in Minnesota.

Andy currently serves on the board of directors for The Fund for Legal Aid, which provides resources for free legal assistance to Minnesota's neediest residents.
