Veirano Advogados has recruited an agribusiness partner with more than 10 years of in-house experience to attract more clients from one of Brazil's most powerful industries.

Luís Felipe Aguiar de Andrade joined Veirano on 12 August. Andrade left Australian chemicals company Worley Parsons, where he worked as a legal director between 2018 and 2019. Previously, he worked at DuPont for nine years.

Veirano's head of environment, Ana Luci Grizzi, says Andrade complements the firm's overall offering. He will work closely with the environmental, intellectual property, finance and tax teams, which are in constant demand from the firm's existing agribusiness clients. "We used to handle all work but on a smaller scale. Andrade's arrival is really a boost to our team which will open new possibilities in the area and bring more clients too," she says.

Andrade says he joined Veirano to improve his contacts with clients from the industry. "Veirano is an incredible team which allows you many possibilities. It is like sitting in the cockpit of Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes," he says.
