Lerners was a proud sponsor of the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame Induction, ("CMHF") held on April 12, 2018, in London. The event was attended by several lawyers from the firm, including Graham Porter, our managing partner and board member of the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame (CMHF).

The CMHF recognizes and celebrates Canadian heroes whose work has advanced health, thereby inspiring the pursuit of careers in the health sciences. For those unaware, the actual hall of fame is located right in London. While not as widely known as those in the hockey hall of fame, the inductees into the CMHF touch the lives of all Canadians, and not just the hockey obsessed in our country.

This year's CMHF inductees were Dr. Philip Berger (medical advocacy), Dr. Brett Finlay (cellular microbiology research), Dr. Vladimir Hachinski (neurology – stroke, dementia and Alzheimer's), Dr. Balfour Mount (palliative care), Dr. Cheryl Rockman-Greenburg (advancing medical knowledge and care in rural and isolated populations), and the Late Dr. Emily Stowe (first female physician to practice medicine in Canada).

Lerners congratulates each of the CMHF inductees, and thanks them for their dedication to advancing Canadian medical knowledge and care.
