The Grant Thornton International Tax Analytics (ITA) Team will take tax professionals through an in-depth examination of critical global tax attributes every US-based multinational should collect and manage in order to employ a variety of tax planning strategies. Moving from identification and collection of these attributes, the ITA Team will lead participants through several planning options designed to showcase the value of attribute-based tax planning strategies, including a demonstration of modeling tools available to quantify the benefits of these strategies. Finally, the team will demonstrate the important role this type of analysis plays in helping companies understand the impact of various tax reform proposals and model planning scenarios that have value independent of any specific law change.
