A Hamilton resident his entire life, Bennie Esposto CPA, CA is the newest addition to the partnership at Fuller Landau LLP. Having previously served as the President of the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce, as well as President of the Canadian Italian Business Professional Association of Hamilton-Halton, Bennie is a familiar face and well-respected businessman in the community. He is an active and consummate networker who is always ready with a quick smile, a witty remark, and a helpful referral.

Prior to joining the Fuller Landau team, Bennie operated as a sole practitioner, employing 8 professionals in his Hamilton office. Providing an array of traditional and value-added accounting, tax and advisory services, Bennie's focus has been committed to helping clients reduce their taxes, build better businesses, and increase their personal wealth.

The Bennie Esposto CPA, Professional Corporation was thriving. Why did you ultimately decide to merge with Fuller Landau, a mid-sized accounting, tax, and advisory firm based in Toronto?

My practice was thriving because my clients were thriving. As a trusted advisor, I take a genuine interest in the success of my clients. But I realize that as my clients continue to grow and evolve, they require more in-depth, specialized services and expertise. The merger with Fuller Landau was the perfect solution. My clients will have access to all the resources they need, in order to manage the complexities of a growing business.

Why Fuller Landau?

Before I started my own practice, I was a partner in a mid-sized firm with 8 local offices. It was an experience that taught me what works well – and what doesn't – in a partnership. It should never be just about the numbers. A shared vision and client service approach is absolutely critical for a partnership to succeed. The importance of "fit" and common values cannot be overstated. My goal in providing outstanding service to help entrepreneurial businesses rise to the top is wholly shared by Fuller Landau. I recognized the merger as a great opportunity not only for my clients and me, but for my existing team as well.

So what changes, and what stays the same?

My team and I will continue to operate at the same location in Hamilton, and our clients will continue to work directly with the same people they've come to know and trust. But we'll be able to add new resources from our Toronto office to the mix, when the need arises. Personal relationships and proactive service have contributed to our success so far, and will continue to be our priority going forward. We're excited to build the Fuller Landau legacy in the Hamilton community – great things ahead!
