Mayer Brown expanded their German Tax practice: Volker Junge joined the firm in February as partner to further strengthen the firms tax group. He will be based in Frankfurt.
Volker Junge comes from King & Wood Mallesons. Prior to joining King & Wood Mallesons he worked for Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton for nine years. Volker Junge advises on all aspects of tax law, with a particular focus on structuring, financing and implementation of tax-efficient national and international M&A, private equity and real estate transactions as well as on corporate reorganizations and rehabilitations. He is also experienced in capital markets transactions and innovative financial products. Furthermore, he advises on structuring of employee and management participation programs.
