Goodwin announced today that it advised private markets investment firm StepStone Group ("StepStone") as the lead investor in Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd's recently closed Life Insurance-Focused Continuation Fund.
Hudson Structured Capital Management Ltd. – conducting insurance business as HSCM Bermuda ("HSCM") – closed its continuation fund, HS Mohawk Fund I LP, with more than $175 million of capital commitments from Stepstone and existing HSCM investors.
The deal was led by Krishna Skandakumar with support from Luca Del Ciotto (Private Funds), Nat Kubik (Private Funds), Zac Davidson (Private Funds), Zach Lupu (M&A); Ai Tajima (RWI), and Romina Weiss and Matthew Dunay (Tax).
