When it comes to housing, Anne says "It's quite clear that the federal government now realizes there does need to be a national role. The government of Canada needs to be involved in housing. We've got a difficult situation around housing shortages of all kinds, so it's really interesting that this government is getting back in housing in a big way."
Her second big takeaway is that there are finally some concrete timelines and targets for the previously announced clean tech tax credits, which are key to driving the energy transition and a green economy.
