Private Equity partner Maureen Ho has been honored by Asian Legal Business (ALB) on its 2023 list of Hong Kong's Rising Stars. In its inaugural list, ALB highlights the next generation of lawyers in Hong Kong who have "demonstrated great potential in the industry, while earning wide acclaim from their clients in the process."

Maureen's practice focuses on advising private equity and real estate funds and financial and corporate investors on all aspects of their investment cycles, including private and public mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, infrastructure investments, and joint ventures, as well as pre-IPO investments, bolt-on acquisitions, and corporate restructurings. Maureen also represents clients in corporate carve-outs, management buy-outs, and general corporate matters.

Maureen is bilingual and a trusted counsel to a stellar list of market-leading investors, including SoftBank, GLP, Ascendent Capital Partners, Macquarie, and FWD. She is a highly active dealmaker in the market, with the aggregate deal value of transactions she has led on behalf of her clients being in excess of US$116 billion in the past year alone.

This recognition is the latest in a series of honors that Maureen has received for her involvement in game-changing M&A and PE deals. She was also recently named a Rising Star in the Asia-Pacific region by International Financial Law Review (IFLR) for second consecutive year. Additionally, Maureen was recognized by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2022-2023 and shortlisted as a Future Leader, Gender Diversity at Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Asia Pacific Awards in 2020.
