Charlotte real estate finance partner Holly Chamberlain was among 25 women recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as part of its "2023 Women in Business Awards."

The annual awards recognize 25 "outstanding women who are creating an impact in the region through their work in the public and private sectors," and Chamberlain was included this year along with leading women leaders from the financial services, healthcare, legal and professional services, and other industries.

As part of the recognition, Chamberlain was profiled in the special issue, and she talked about her professional achievements and also shared her advice to young professionals. When asked what inspires or motivates her, Chamberlain said: "On a professional level, it gives me tremendous personal satisfaction to know that I am a trusted adviser to my clients, who regularly turn to me to guide them on some of their largest and most important transactions. On a more personal level, I am always motivated to be a role model for my children, especially my two daughters, and for their friends, for college students thinking about a career in the law and for the junior and mid-level female associates in my firm (or any firm) who need mentors and inspiration to keep pushing forward in their careers. I want them all to see that women can do it all and can achieve great professional success, with hard work and dedication(and still be a mom and a friend and have fun, too).
