Riker Danzig will host a program led by Partners (formerly known as Partners for Women & Justice) and Rachel Coalition on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, to train attorneys to represent victims of domestic violence in obtaining Final Restraining Orders in family court. This is the second occasion on which Riker Danzig has hosted this excellent program, which provides CLE credit and is open to all attorneys. Several Riker Danzig attorneys already volunteer regularly with Partners and Rachel Coalition and can speak to how rewarding it is to provide representation in court to domestic violence victims who otherwise would not have access to counsel.

The training program will be held in Riker Danzig's Collaborative Space in the Administrative Center and is also offered virtually. A light lunch will be provided for those who attend in person.

The exact number of CLE credits will be finalized on the day of the program, but 5 to 6 CLE credits will be provided, 1 to 1.2 of which will be ethics credits.

In honor of Riker Danzig's 140th anniversary, the Firm has committed to provide 140 hours of pro bono counsel this year to Partners.
