Winston & Strawn is a long-time member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) and sponsors the participation of our attorneys in its Fellows and Pathfinder programs each year.

Our 2023 LCLD Fellow is Partner Angela A. Smedley, and our Pathfinders participants are Associates Christopher Parker and Drew Washington. These programs train high-performing, early-career attorneys in leadership, network building, and other career development strategies.

This is the 11^th year Winston has nominated a lawyer for the LCLD program. Winston Partners Sofia Arguello, Kobi Kennedy Brinson, Steve Flores, Francisco Flores, Donald Goff, Tim Kincaid, and Associate Saranya Raghavan are all Fellows program alums. Past participants in the Pathfinder program include Winston Partner Sean Suber and Associates Cesie Alvarez, Masae Ellis, Marcus Garcia, Nasir Hussain, and Dion Robbins.

In addition to the Fellows and Pathfinders Programs, Winston participates in the 1L LCLD Scholars Program in partnership with several firm clients. Winston received LCLD's 2022 Compass Award in recognition of its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

LCLD is made up of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners, working to build a more open and diverse legal profession.
